Neihu Technology Park’s former name was Neihu Light Industry Park. Originally, the government wanted to evict some illegal automobile repair companies in the area. After a while, however, more and more technology companies moved into the area and in 2001, the government decided to rename the area “Neihu Technology Park.” Due to the previous limitation law, development used to be slow. But now, Neihu Technology Park has become an ideal Technology Park. |

Unlike Hsinchu Science Park, whose properties and factories are entirely planned by the government, Neihu Technology Park was almost entirely privately planned. These private properties were carefully designed and constructed by various companies and in the end, all the buildings were built beautifully with a modern touch. Also unlike other factory-based science parks, Neihu Technology Park has a very comfortable office atmosphere. |

Neihu Technology Park is the first international high-tech urban Park in Taiwan. It has convenient transportation and communication networks, offers a convenient urban lifestyle, and boasts excellent manpower. Moreover, from the Neihu Technology Park location, it is also easy to gain access to “Nangang Software Technology Park” and “Taipei Knowledge Economy Industry Park.” The advantage of its location has served Neihu Technology Park well. There are also many biotech companies in Technology Park. There is little doubt that the Taipei City Government will continue to make efforts to modernize and develop Neihu Technology Park. |
