The Legend of Jie Pai Guan ( Chi-Zi Diao:Tza-Liam-A )

Abstract of lyrics:
People hate Lo Tong very much because he enforces extremely cruel tax laws and pockets all the profits. Tang dynasty rules China strictly but impartially. Lo Tong is not allowed to ruin the system. The emperor is too far to listen to the common people. The Lo family indulges in debauchery every single day. However, that people cry piteously on street can be heard. It would be a pity that a wicked person is the ruler. “I have deepest sympathy on you. Just tell me what you wish”, said Princess Tu-Lu.
Princess Tu-Lu offers Lo Tong a position of cart driver and a shelter in her country in the north. Lo Tong tries to convince the Princess not to go to the Jie-Pai-Kuan because there are so many enemies and the captain Lo Tong is such a crafty and wicked person. In spite of Lo-Tong’s tricks and numerous enemies, Princess Tu-Lu still insists to head for the Jie-Pai-Kuan and fight. There are more than one hundred thousand soldiers in the Jie-Pai-Kuan but it seems rare people exactly know who Lo Tong is.
