In 1981, the famous player from native Ami tribe, Guo Yuan-Zhi, joined a Japan’s professional baseball team. The Japanese press called him the offspring of “Takasako, Noko” in headlines. That means how overwhelming the Noko baseball team was at that time. The word “Noko” represents the symbol of Taiwan native baseball players.
