After the Golden Dragons won the first world series championships, all players were recommended for Hua-Hsing high school. The next year, all players of the Seven Tigers entered the Meiho high school in PinDong. The “North Hua-Hsing and South Meiho” stage was started since then. How the amateur major league baseball teams were able to become famous in the world, Hwa Hsing, the team from Taipei holds a significant role in the development. It nurtured many famous players, namely, Lin Hwa Wei, Yeh Chi Sien, Kuo Yuan Chi, Chen Da Fong, Lou Ming Seh etc and helped the professional baseball to mature in Taiwan.

Hua-Hsing high school won all tournaments in Taipei city from 1967 till now, except in 2004. The super Hua-Hsing affected the will of other schools to form baseball teams since most good players go to Hua-Hsing, and other schools did not have any chance to win. In 2007, the baseball team of Hua-Hsing was dismissed because it has completed the mission of specific stage, and it does not have to carry on the responsibility of playing baseball for our country. Right now, the baseball field of Hua-Hsing is only used by school clubs.
The Battles Between Fu Jen U And Chinese Culture U

Most people graduated from Hua-Hsing would go to Fu-Jen Catholic University, while the graduates of Meiho entered the department of physical education in Chinese Culture University. The battles between the Fu-Jen and Culture University baseball teams were started in Taiwan Baseball world. Lacking sufficient finance from the universities, the teams sought supports from outside world. Fu Jen University Team obtained Grapes King’s support, while Chinese Culture University Team received support from Wei-Chuan. In 1979, two teams played for the Plum Flower Cup championship and combated 7 games consecutively.
