The Forming of KCH Foundation

 

  In 1990, the Hsieh Kuo-Cherng baseball culture and education foundation was established by Mr. Hsieh’s eldest son, Dr. Hsieh Nan-Qiang and his other families. It aims to accomplish his unfulfilled wishes by increasing the baseball population and revive the strength of our baseball teams to the world leading countries.

KCH Cup Tournament

 

  In 1981, CBTA called a meeting and decided to hold an annual KCH Cup to commemorate Mr. KCH. The first KCH Cup Tournament was held in 1991, the followings are the contents of the players manual:

Theme 1.Commemorate Mr. KCH and his dedication to LL baseball
2.Advocating LL baseball with KCH Foundation
3.Elevating the standard of Little League
4.Localizing baseball。

Wang Chien-Ming in 2nd KCH Cup

  The most prominent pitcher in Taiwan, Wang Chien-Ming, entered the second competition of Kuo-Cherng Cup championships when he was a sixth grade student in 1992.
  During the second KCH Cup, Wang Chien Ming was the pitcher for the Zung Shue Team. During the championship game, the two teams were in steep battle. It was not until the last period, Sung Shue able to win over Li Shin with the final score of 3 to 2.

KCH Scholarships for Outstanding Schools

 
KCH Foundation Donating Baseballs

  Except holding the Kuo-Cherng Cup championships, the foundation offered scholarships for excellent schools from this year. For the schools with good performances but shortage of expenses, the foundation will send out equipment and awards worth thousands of dollars to encourage young players working harder on the baseball field.
