Each person has different way to express oneself. Uncle Sun chose to convey his inner feelings though acting. To him, performers also have social responsibilities. Not only do they provide laugher to the audiences, but also to improve the quality of film.
Uncle Sun won the best supporting actor of the Golden Horse Award with the movie called Storm Over the Yangtse (1969). He also won the best actor of the Golden Horse Award with the movie called Papa, Can You Hear Me Sing (1983). His performance became more excellent. However, he decided to quit from the show business in order to devote himself into welfare business. His last film was published in 1989, Two Painters.
