"Fathe of Baseball" KCH

Mr. KCH augurating a game
(phto by Wang Ron Chi)

Mr. Hsieh devoted himself promoting baseball activities in Taiwan. Furthermore, he helped Taiwan get the award of three championships. As a professional sport practitioner, he passed away in 1980, at the age of 69. The most regrettable thing in his life was not letting the adult baseball dominate the world.

In memory of Mr. Hsieh Kuo-Cherng, the baseball society honored him by calling him the father of Little League in Taiwan.
