| “Everyone’s Hero” |
After I saw the movie “Everyone’s Hero”, I learned a lot about Yankee’s history. A young baseball loving boy named Yankee Irving who always wears a hat printed “Yankee” on it, however, when he swings every time, he cannot make any hits. He was encouraged by a talkative baseball named Screwie and helped the famous player Babe Ruth to find his magic ball Darlin’.
I think the words from Babe Ruth at the end of the movie are very inspiring. He said, “When someone says you’re useless, and asks you to give up, what should you do? You just hit the ball with your heart. Winning or losing depends on the hitter not the bat. Even if it depends on the hitter, when you failed at the first hit, just prepare for the next one. You can reach any height you want as long as you are standing on the home plate. Believe in yourself, then you will succeed.”Finally, Yankee Irving hit a beautiful home run in the end. |
