The Publication of Studio Classroom
¡@¡@In 1962, ¡§Studio Classroom¡¨ magazine started as a single-page hand-out sheet accompanying radio program. And in 2001, ¡§Advanced¡¨ detached from ¡§Studio Classroom¡¨ and became a separate magazine. The diversified and healthy content makes ¡§Studio Classroom¡¨ and ¡§Let¡¦s talk in English¡¨ become the most popular English teaching magazine. In HuaXing, we subscribe ¡§Studio Classroom¡¨ for our junior high students to read.
The establishment of television and broadcasting departments
¡@¡@Magazine and radio teaching is still ORTV¡¦s major teaching method. Not until the television broadcasting department was established, did Studio Classroom start to produce English teaching programs such as Globe Theatre, Around the World in English, Wonderful Street, Wonderful Castle, and Good Morning Today. Studio Classroom is the second largest circulated English-teaching magazine after Let¡¦s talk in English in Taiwan. The magazine has won numerous awards over the years, including Taiwan's famous Golden Bell and Golden Tripod Awards. Studio Classroom is distributed and broadcasted in Mainland China, the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. It is even issued and broadcasted in Middle East and Korea.
