¡@¡@After we visited the studio of studio classroom last week, we got an assignment from our teacher. Since we have been reading ¡§Let¡¦s talk in English¡¨ everyday and are capable of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English as well, our teacher asked us to edit a simple English publication to introduce Dr. Brougham.
¡@¡@The uncle in the studio told us, ¡§It felt OK when you hear your own voice in normal situation, but through professional equipment, you would feel it¡¦s a stranger¡¦s voice. And you would even hear many broken sounds.¡¨
¡@¡@Although we do not have professional equipment, our voices recorded during the quiet holiday sounded pretty good. We are requested to follow our teacher¡¦s signals. When she pressed the ¡§record¡¨ button that means we have to speak. When commas and periods are confronted, we have to stop for one second. Sometimes we would forget our teacher¡¦s requests when we were too concentrated, and then we had to start all over again. We finally understood how hard it is to do recording.
¡@¡@After we finished this recording, our teacher let other classmates listen to our report. When it was played through the paging system, we felt a little bit embarrassed. But when we heard the praises from our teachers and classmates, the pains and complaints suddenly went up in smoke.
