The interviewee: the marketing director of Studio Classroom—Ms. Chen Yun-Qing
（She has joined the Studio Classroom for 14 years, and she did advertising, accounting, and Futures before. She is now a marketing executive who enjoys playing instruments and drawing.）

The content:
1.How do you promote Studio Classroom to everyone?
I am in charge of marketing, and have to let our clients know the advantages of our magazine through various channel. We use advertisement column of the newspaper, DM, internet, and TV commercials to promote Studio Classroom. Also, there is another department responsible for promoting magazines, CD-Rom, and radio broadcasting in high school, universities, and other companies. More than that, Dr. Brougham promotes magazines with other English teachers by performing lively games and shows in schools.

2.There are many foreign colleagues in Studio Classroom. What’s the difference between them and other Taiwanese colleagues?
Cultural and background differences make us different in appearances, thoughts, eating, customs etc. For example, we like to cook things thoroughly, but they like to eat it cold. Their hair color is also different from ours. When we had a meeting, it is inevitable to have different opinions once in a while. Therefore, we need time to adjust to each other, and try to find a balanced. They are more exaggerated in expressing their feelings, not implicit like us. And they not only love animals but also love plants. Dr. Brougham is one of them, she likes cats and dogs very much.

3.How do foreign people adapt to our local culture?
It is very difficult for them to get used to our culture and life just like when we go abroad. So we have to care about them more, show them around more, and let them know things about Taiwan more, then they will be accustomed to Taiwan gradually. All of them are missionary, so they are willing to adapt themselves to Taiwan.

4.Is there anything interesting when you were with Dr. Brougham?
She is very interesting. Once she attended a party and sat next to our president. She brought the little harmonica she always takes along and just before the party began, she played the harmonica to the president! She doesn’t like to attend public activities, and every time she has to go on stage, she would murmur to herself off the stage. However, when she went up the stage, she can always talk easily and made everybody like her speech. Yet she never prepares any speech scripts, she talks about whatever she saw and heard at that time. Though she did not talk very much, people can feel her kindness and friendliness.
