¡@¡@We have designed a questionnaire in order to understand how consumers in RT Mart feel about RT mart? With the help from Reception Manager, Ms. You-hsuan Hou, we stood at the entrance on Saturday afternoon to ask for consumers to fill in questionnaires. A total of 200 valid questionnaires were turned.

1. Where do you live?

It can be found through the figure above that the traffic to RT Mart is quite convenient since residents in Neihu, Taipei City, and non Taipei city are all consumers in RT Mart. It can be concluded that location of a warehouse is very important.

Since these questionnaires were filled in on Saturday, the consumers are most families.

It can be indicated from the figure above that most consumers who go to RT Mart on holidays shop for family life necessities. Family shopping is an additional value.

It can be indicated from the figure above that about 30% customers visits RT Mart once a week. It can be concluded that the merchandise that RT Mart sell meets consumers¡¦ needs.

As indicated from the figure above, nearly 30% consumers have not ever bought the private brand products of RT. RT Mart can promote this more.

7. Have you ever made use of the post service in RT Neihu Second Store (e.g. sending letters or packages, withdrawing money, passbook sensing, buying stamps, etc)?

As indicated from the figure above, we were surprised. Although the post office is right at the entrance, only 16% consumers have used this service. And the main reason might be that the consumers we asked were most families rather than working professionals while workers might have more chances to use this service. Another reason might be that bills can be paid by credit cards, so it is not necessary to withdraw money.

The top five that are most attractive are: special sale product, snack food, bread, drink (refrigerated), and seafood and meat. The top one is special sale products and it can be inferred that the strategy of special sales is the most powerful tool to attract consumers.

9. How do you feel about the traffic flow around RT Mart?

Nearly 80% consumers think the traffic flow is smooth and it can be inferred that the strategy of paying voluntary traffic guards to conduct traffic works.

10. Have you ever visit RT Mart on typhoon day or after the message of typhoon is announced?

More than 60% consumers have shopped in RT Mart after the message of typhoon is announced or on typhoon day. It can be concluded that the quantity of vegetables and instant food (instant noodles and frozen food) is abundant and the prices are reasonable.
